MindBridge Strategies was founded in 2010 with the mission of assisting non-profit organizations to engage in effective, impactful organizational planning processes. MindBridge believes in meaningful stakeholder engagement; efficient use of client time; and delivering comprehensive plans that play a critical role in elevating the impact of organizations.
MindBridge has worked with a broad scope of Canadian organizations: from grassroots start-ups to national and international NGOs. Our clients span multiple fields from women’s services to developmental services to environmental protection and health. About Our Managing Director
Corrie Henderson holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University, where she specialized in strategic management and marketing, as well as an Honours Political Science Degree from Queen's University. Corrie has applied her business development and strategic management expertise in the non-profit sector for more than 25 years working with national, provincial, and local organizations such as Plan Canada, the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, York Region Food for Learning, the Canadian Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Community Living, among others.
Corrie is a former Executive Director of the Shoebox Project and additionally has Director of Development and financial management experience. She has served as the Strategic Advisor to the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy.
In recent years, Corrie has been particularly focused on organizations addressing gender-based violence. Clients in this field have included the Sarnia-Lambton Coordinating Committee on Violence Against Women, The Simcoe County Violence Against Women Coordinating Committee, and several women's shelters across Ontario.
Corrie was previously Chair of the Board of Directors at Interim Place (now Embrave), a women's shelter in Mississauga. For her work on the Board, she was nominated for the Ontario government's June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism.
Corrie is also the founder of One Spark, a charity that assists women impacted by violence to work toward financial sustainability.
